[ Update 20th November 2019]:
So recently I have started using the same exact audio tag of Garyvee (just the sound).
Along with that sound, I have created my own version of show casing PROUD MENTEE of Garyvee.
Here’s is the audio tag:

Why am I using Garyvee Style Audio Tag:
You know what, Tony Robbins says this to his audience that everything he has become is because of Jim Rohn. He has duplicated Jim Rohn in his own life.
I want that to happen in my life with respect to my mentor Gary Vaynerchuk.
This is a super big statement but it was super huge for Tony Robbins as well when he was 30!
I want to spread Garyvee so much via Digital Pratik, that my happiness should always be saying: Pratik a little more please!
That’s a short answer for why I replicate all the things which Garyvee says, making sure I do only that which I am self awared about.
I am just 30 and I have just achieved 1% of what I want to achieve in my life.

Okay so now, What Does My Audio Branding Symbolize, since February 2019?
Inspired By The Legend, The Mentor Mr. Gary Vaynerchuk aka GaryVee!

Hey guys, I am super excited to share this particular episode with you guys because I have just introduced a new branding audio tag for my brand and I hope you love it.
So, enjoy the episode.
February 2019 it was when Gary Vaynerchuk wrote one article which is The Rise of Audio Branding.
[Digital Pratik Audio Branding/Sonic Branding Tag]
Hello, and welcome to this another episode of Digital Pratik Show where, today, I am going to be discussing about this Audio Branding and how I started doing audio tags and main streaming videos, LinkedIn videos, Facebook videos, Pocket videos, Instagram stories everywhere.
Check out this Instagram post & read the caption as well:
And what is the importance of the audio branding and how I started using it on 13th February 2019 with my first ever audio tag.
Check out this Instagram post of 13th Feb 2019 when I used an audio tag for the 1st ever time.
Since then it has changed a lot which you will be able to see in my recent posts of Instagram here.
So, Audio Streaming in particular has increased massively in popularity with the emergence of Alexa and Google Home, and it is super clear that this is just the beginning.
And there is this episode is 100 % inspired by the legend himself, my one and only mentor, Gary Vaynerchuk.
So, as voice gets more popular branding in the audio world is about to become significantly more and more important.
People are going to shift to Alexa skills just like mobile app development was a couple of years back.
So, yesterday, like only I was having a one hour discussion with my teammates in my car itself, because I often do it.
I just visit their home or visit their place, call them outside, and we will sit in the car and we will discuss a lot of things, so I call these car meetings.
By the way, if you are tuning in to this episode just to hear me, hashtag car meeting or Digital Pratik car meeting or Digital Pratik meets in the car, something like that.
I will actually create a hashtag, something like that, with the respect to car meetings.
Anyway, so I was having this one hour discussion with my team in my car and enhancing my audio tag by constantly listening our audio tag, inside the car, alright, but huge music.
I was also listening to GaryVeeās audio tag and we were discussing plenty of factors.
So, in the car.Ā Why in the car?
It feels as if you are in a closed room with highest volume.
So, what I discussed, I will get on that part in a while, but letās talk about the Sonic Branding, a lot is happening right now.
So, it is about how your brand sounds and how it gets recorded or remembered, like the little jingle in the beginning of video games or maybe sound when you boot up the computer.
Itās about to become dramatically more important for every single brand out there in the digital space.
So, letās listen to this old music.
Letās tune in to this one [Music of Mario game]. If you are into your 30ās or 40ās I am sure you must just recognize that sound with Mario, that cartoon which wasā¦or that game, video game, which was there.
Now, letās listen to this one [Music of Pentium].
So, was it Pentium?
I am sure you got it.
Now, letās listen to this last one [Music of Doordarshan].Ā Now, this might be a little bit difficult for all my non-Indian listeners but if you are an Indian you already will know that that was Doordarshan.
So, just imagine what happens when you have an audio brand or an audio tag or an audio which is signifying your own brand.
So, what is the Sonic Branding?
Itās how your business sounds, just like Pentium, Doordarshan or even Apple videos when you actually search for that guyās name.
Whenever you go to apple.com you watch any video, with respect to the product, you will always hear that sound.
So, you will have videos for that as well on YouTube, people are searching for that name as well. So at times you are fascinated about who would be the lady behind Voice of Sealy, alright?
So the problem is most companies havenāt thought about what their business sounds like. Itās the same reason that we probably never thought about how important a user name would be in social media environment.
Now, when you ask a brand what their tone guidelines are, for example, they will have answers like, we are an inspirational brand, we are an aspirational brand, we are an accessible brand, etc, etc, etc.
But when you ask them what their business audio identity is many of them will quote back those same adjectives like accessible, aspirational, inspirational, motivational, etcetera.
But creating audio identity requires a totally different thing.
For example, is your brandās voice the voice of a 25 year old surfer or is it the voice of a celebrity or is it the voice of a lady?
It is just a song?
Is it a whistle?
It is something where you are trying to grab attention?
What does it symbolizes?
So, over the next decade or two what your brand sounds like, itās going to be super crucial, variable of success in a world that will be doing primarily by two things, voice and brand.
So, if you are like most people, when you hear these sounds you will have pretty strong feelings.
But over the past decade we have lived in such a visual world that disproportionately rewarded video content and images over everything else.
In a Facebook and Instagram world it is important to have captions on videos because a lot of people donāt even have volume turned on when they scroll through their feed, or they might be in office, they might be in school, they might be in college and they are consuming your content, video content, and they have muted.
So, captions are super important for that reason audio branding just hasnāt be as top of mind as it used to be, but it matters for one clear reason, which is speed.
And it is going to come in a couple of years so if you are not ready now you will be late then.
Normally, to capture the attention of the end consumer, cement your brand identity in the mind of stimulate recall.
You will have to run a 10, 15, 30 second advertisement on a relevant channel to capture their attention, but sound is incredibly powerful because of the speed at which you can capture your audienceās attention and cement your brand in the mind.
If you are able to just go into their mind or their brain in the first seven minutes of the day they start, via podcast, your brand wins.
So, the reason we put famous singers and artists on such a pedestal is because of the connection we found with them through their music.
Sound is a powerful ability to get us to trigger specific emotions and memories, and thatās impactful when it come to a brand.
It is the same reason why podcasting is just an incredible medium, you are in your audienceās ear buds all the time and that automatically creates a bond with them, thatās deeper than anything else.
Right now we are tuning to this episode and listening to me, why waste, nothing else.
So, ultimately, Sonic Branding is the audio equivalent of brands username.
If the company plays their tag alongside advertisements or content that match their brandsā positioning, eventually, that audio tag by itself will conjure up the intended feelings around that brand.
Firstly, I am adding my audio tag to every single one of my videos after I learnt it from the legend himself, Gary Vaynerchuk.
I read his article The Rise of Audio Branding in February 2019, 13th February 2019 was the first ever day when I learnt, applied, and just created something, and I instantly applied based on the editing knowledge which I had in Final Cut Pro X, and I am sharing it then enhancing it all the time, whenever I get some ideas and putting it in every single video of mine, and thatās what I did this morning, right now, as I am finally recording this.
Itās almost 10:15 a.m. right now, while I am recording this episode I want to say that yesterday while I was discussing the enhancement offered with my team in a car meeting, once again, car meeting, I told them that I just want to create an audio branding tag which would be a symbol of the following:
What I want to visualize or what I want to symbolize my brand with audio voice is, letās suppose when somebody is going they should be stopped, and once again, so that we get their attention.
Now, how to symbolize that in social media content?
We need to stop them by giving them a glimpse of our value bomb or a speed breaker or anything similar, because I think people are in constant motion or constant movement of social media content consumption all the time, on their phone or their desktop.
So, it is super important to stop them with an effective audio bomb.
Thatās what I did, alright?
So, early this morning I tried to enhance that with a little bit of buzz, a little bit of editing here and there, a lot of work, alright?
And then, finally, I have this audio branding tag which is enhanced now.
Today, as of my own recording, it is 5th May 2019 somewhere around 10:15 a.m. and I have this one.
So I donāt know when you are listening, if you are listening later on, maybe three, four months down the line, two years down the line, you might have something else, you might have something else with respect to my brand when it comes to voice, but this was how I started, and this is what I am doing right now; and this is what you should be doing for the future.
I hope you learnt some value.
With that being said, this is Digital Pratik, your podcast host signing off, Iāll see you later.
